Day 24 - Albany (3rd December 2010)

"During the early hours of this morning, Dawn Princess rounded Cape Leeuwin from the West and set various Easterly courses. We will enter then King George Sound after leaving Bald Head to Port. Our local pilot will be embarked at the pilot station off Mistaken Island. With our pilot on board, we will proceed through the narrow Ataturk Entrance into the Port of Albany harbour and alongside our berth."

Very slow internet connection, no Vodafone signal in Albany and only two pages of touristic information instead of four inside our daily Princess Patter... should I be worried? Am I in woop woop today?? Bunbury and Albany, you have not won my heart!

The best ones I have heard today were:
"Could you please drop me at Dan Murphy's? -> I do not know any Murphys here, I am from Denmark."
"A bottle of Yalumba Signature, Please. -> Is it a bubbly or a white?" And no, it is not in the $5 wine section neither!

Whale World and the historical site of the last whaling station achieved me this afternoon, and no, I am not sorry your whalers lost their job!

Back on time for afternoon tea. Let's cheer up with "The imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" and stand up comedy tonight.
