Day 7 - At Sea (16 November 2010)

I had a very late start today after dancing with the girls in Jammers last night. What a pleasure to finally open my curtain this morning to see only blue from my balcony!

I wish to thank "Broadstitches Embroidery" in the Broadway Shopping Centre of Sydney, who made some embroidered "Table 51" logos within 2 hours yesterday.

Our members joined forces, buying a "Dawn Princess" collar shirt on board and meeting in the Atrium after the Martini Demonstration for a sewing session.

For lunch, I tested the Balcony Grill on Deck 14 with live music from the pool stage. We discussed our entry for the Scrapheap Challenge or how to construct a self-propelled vessel, maximum 5 feet long, that can carry 24 cans of beer across the pool.

Our Hotel General Manager invited me to join him for dinner at the Sterling Steakhouse. We shared a Californian Pinot Noir and stories about Pornichet, where my grand mother was born in France. A fantastic night, thank you Riccardo!
