Day 29 - Melbourne (8 December 2010)

We arrived in Melbourne at 6am and will have to vacate our cabins by 8am. It is a big day for our cabin stewards who have to make everything ready for the next passengers starting to board around noon. We have various places to enjoy our last breakfast on board before to meet at our respective disembarkation location. No announcements, I like the silent disembarkation policy.

I have to confess that Fort Lauderdale (Miami), Civitavecchia (Rome), and even Sydney are easier terminals to board or disembark than Melbourne. I will then fly back to Brisbane this afternoon. I would like to thank all my readers and hope you have enjoyed my little adventure around Australia.

The latest statistics are showing nearly 880 pageviews with:

I leave you with a lengthy slideshow, "The joys of a balcony at sea", where you will discover the pictures I made each day from my balcony stateroom.

Very often people ask me what I like about cruising and I always answer: "Opening my window everyday to a new scenery"!
